Vomiting, loose runny stools, excessive water intake and excessive urine output.
I'm sorry, but I don't know how long these symptoms take to show up.
If you've feed your cat any of the recalled food the best advice I can give you is to have the Vet check him/her out.
If it will save your cats life, it's money well spent.
Good luck, I hope kitty is just fine!

Symptoms of kidney failure include; increased water intake, lethargy, loss of appetite, vomiting. Your vet can do a Kidney function test. List of recalled brands and dates of manuf/codes at: WWW.MENUFOODS.COM/RECALL/PRODUCT/CAT
Please take your cat to the vet if it is experiencing any of these symptoms! I lost my poor Bitsy to this food poisoning before the recall went out!

From what I've read on the CNN website, the prevalent sympton is vomiting. Was it canned food or dry? Dry food is still supposed to be okay.

vomiting, diarrhea, urinating a lot or none at all, listlesness, in a cat any change in usual habits is very important, believe me my cat just spent a week at the vets hospital, $29,000 later and he still might not live
