Recently I was watching television one night and on the news I heard them mention about a website that you can logg onto and find out if in your area any teacher(s) are arrested for indecency with minors or have to register as sex offender(s). I did not get the website . Does anyone else know it?

It depends what state you are in. But here is the national search website from the U.S. Department of Justice.

I am aware that Michigan had such a website, however, it has since been (or soon will be) eliminated due to numerous erroneous listings of teachers who were not convicted sex offenders.

This is the only state I'm aware of having used this type of notification.

Best wishes!

hey yes there are more than a couple of websites you can look up sex offenders:
www.registeredoffenderslist.org
www.familywatchdog.us/
If these don't work then just go to google.com and type in the search browser Sex Offenders and it'll pop up some sites. it's interesting and good to know we have that kind of access now to really know who's around you....
