I'm not sure I understand what you're asking. Could you be more specific?
EDIT: Why would you want to point out inconsistencies? If you don't share our beliefs, then what would you gain by it, other than props from other anti-Mormons (not like that's anything to be proud of)? It seems like it would only consume you and your life, if you continue to try and find anything you can to try to prove us wrong. I mean, there's nothing in it for you. You should leave well enough alone, and say "To each his own."
Besides, if our beliefs are wrong, then why do you think you're so passionate about proving it? What if maybe, just maybe, OUR beliefs (and not what you think we believe) are completely true and that's WHY you're so compelled to point out inconsistencies? I'm guessing you aren't taking this approach with other religions you disagree with.

Whatever "doctrine" is inspired of God, which is many. As to whether something is inspired of God I believe each person must figure that out themselves. That being said, when a prophet is speaking as the prophet on behalf of God, that is generally authoritative, and the scriptures.

Why do you like to argue so much?
I listen to what the prophets say...if I have a question about it, I go to my Heavenly Father in prayer and ask that I can understand or even sometimes accept what they are saying.
I know the prophets are the voice for the Lord so I pretty mch agree with what they say...but like I said, if I question something, I ask the only 100% perfect person, the Lord, for He will never lead my astray.

Our doctrine comes from our scriptures. If it's not in the Bible, the Book of Mormon, the D&C, or the Pearl of Great Price, then it's not doctrine.

Isn't it a little late to be doing this research? You've already hurled out so many accusations about LDS "doctrine"... Sheesh...
See www.lds.org for the correct answer.
You already "know what is authoritative", yet you quote from the Journal of Discourses as if it were scripture. :-)
