Young women need to start going to the Gynecologist when they first start menstruation or when they first have sexual intercourse. Then you HAVE to go every year to have a cervical test to make sure your cells are growing normally and a breast exam. Its not the most pleasant experience for women but its far from being the worst. Change happens all the time in the cervix and breasts so its very important to monitor your body monthly by yourself and yearly with the tests.

Are you sexually active? If so, knowmatter what age you are you need to go to the gynocologist every year and get a pap unless otherwise directed by a doctor. If you are manogomus in a relationship and don't think your boyfriend or husband is cheating, you only need to go once a yr unless otherwise directed by a doc. If you have more than one partner, you should go after every sexual encounter. Even with protection of anykind there is still a chance of getting a std or getting pregnant. It is very important if you are sexually active or you think you may have a female problem to go to the doc to make sure everything is fine. God bless.

Gynecologist.
It really depends upon your age and physical condition. As the previous answer said, start by asking your regular family physician.

You should go AT LEAST once a year for pap exam.
More than that if you have any conditions/problems.

I have never been to one.
I may go to a doc once a year.
Being your own doc is your best doc unless
emergency.
