that is a good option. or a thunderbird. keep in mind as a first car you do not want a high powered one. and you want something with alot of metal surrounding you. the stats of teen wrecks is scary as heck. keep yourself safe. an explorer or blazer broco cherokee etc are good.

Taurus is a good car. try something with a 4 cylinder for gas savings, most high school girls are more concerned with being able to pay for the gas. and stay away from the foreign cars. contrary to popular belief they do not last as long. you will notice that you see thousands of 15 year old American cars still on the road compared to just a few of the foreign cars of the same age still able to run.

just remember what ever you get make sure it is a winter rat

not a very expensive one and try not to buy one at a dealer where you have to get a loan and make payments

remember when you owe on it IE a loan the bank owns it and you have to have full coverage for ins. that is expensive on top of a new driver that will make your payments about 700 a month just for insurance.... this does NOT include your car payment

get a nice car from the paper or someone down the road
you can have your parents mechanic go check it out to make sure it is safe and reliable for you

this way your ins will be lower and you wont have any payments on it

Yeah, well I think you'd love a Mazda Miata. Great gas mileage, wonderful to drive on rural roads, easy to park...... and the wind in your hair on a summer evening!
