Cheating spouse?

my betterhalf cell phone beep for him to check a message last night around 1 or 2am....he said it was a voice message from a bill collector that he did not check earlier...but when I looked on the phone he did not know I saw him check it and he saw that it was a text message that said Hey call me........I got the phone and called back and it was a woman and she hung up....I called from the house phone and she laughed and said oh god...i had the wrong number...( told her I was his wife ) and why was she was texting so early...I asked 1 am in the morning? I got on the computer and text her back from his
screen name to her cell...I pretended to be him, but she kept saying she had the wrong number and to ____ your wife...now we live in MS, but the call was from UT....tell me what you all think...why would she say leave me alone and go ____your wife? Oh by the way when I got the phone and walked out the room after he said he did not know who it was..he followed me to see what i was doing

Holy crap I dont know what I would do if I were your husband. You seem like your on a rampage. Has he ever led you to question his fidelity in the past? If not just let it go. Cell phone service can be somewhat unreliable these days with so may phones out there. Do you think he could really be cheating with someone in Utah?? I think you would know. Although I guess it could be an online thing. But suppose it was really a wrong number???

I agree. As soon as your significant other lies to you about a phone call from someone when it's someone entirely different, you have to confront that person. They have something to hide.

If he cannot trust you, you've got marital problems. It's one thing to hide minor things and have a little white lie. It's another thing to be lying about people. When you are married, there is no I. In marriage, you guys share your lives. You share responsibilities of many things down to expenditures. You share friends. That means, if you don't get along with one of his friends, that friendship won't work. The same could go with him.

Wow, that sucks.. I would do the same damn thing if there was a text message like that. Trust your gut instinct.. if you think he is cheating.. prolly is. Your gut instinct is usually correct. I would never trust it.. then later on say dammit.. should have trusted it cuz it always proves right. How did he act? did he seem worried.... Does he travel? Like other people said check the phone bill.......
Why would she say **** your wife...... I would be careful! Talk to him about it.. see his reactions to what you say..... If he is divorce his *** and take away everything he owns!

He's cheating or at least thinking about it. According to cheating statistics, if a woman suspects her husband is cheating, there's an 85% chance of her suspicions being correct. (50% for men who suspect). I would reccommend getting out of the relationship. Cheating is an inborn habit that will never go away. Cheaters always cheat again and again. He will never change. He'll be sorry, beg for forgiveness and swear it will never happen again but it always does. Walk away now and save yourself from further heartache.

check your cell phone bills and see if this number shows up from before. That should give you your answer.

Sounds like a very good cover up...maybe drop it a bit an check on him in a month and see if he is still chatting with her.

You should confront him and tell him how would he like it if a bloke texted you at 1am would he be happy I don't think he would.
