who else has seen the connection....Christianity looks so much like greek and Roman mythology.....Levatians....people made from clay....just like prometeus the greek/roman God who supposedly made man from some alluvian clay....Jesus the Son of God....like Zeus's son Hercules/Heracles....and the supposed return of God's son like a phoneix from its ashes......'Hel' from the norse mythology the wife of Loki and ruler of the underworld..the list goes on....so what gives....? IS Chrsitianity just an assortment of the latest updates to these pagan and ancient mythologies....?!!?

Yes, it is quite striking. You'll get lots of flak for this, but christianity is nothing more than a conglomeration of pre-christian beliefs repackaged for the convienience of the catholic church when establishing monotheism and social control.

Find me one trait of christianity that didn't exist in paganism.. including blood sacrifice.

it's funny how the scriptures were found in the temple during the reign of king Josiah by the high priest Hikiah just at the time the Greeks were coming to prominence in the Mediterranean. it's strange how the judeans had forgotten about moses and that yahweh was only one of the many gods they worshipped before the politically useful holy texts were found.

This is ony my opinion I think the Greek Gods were real and that they might of been fallen angels who came down and mated with humans before the flood. I think it is possible I am not saying that it happened I am just saying it is possible. Many ancient writings that out date the Bible talks about ancient Gods that came down to earth.

The writings of the Bible are older than greek mythology. The old testament goes back to creation, prior to the Greeks.

So it would be the other way around.

Greek mythology was their "answer" to the Bible.

Ever consider you may have it backwards. "People made from clay"?-when did Homer live??, -when was Genesis recorded??
How much do we know about Homer?, -how many of his writings do we have and how old are they. How many ancient O.T & N.T. manuscripts do we have???
Yeah, you are blowin smoke-and not very well.
