I have always wanted to lay under the stars with my fiance who I am so in love with and he knows this and he is the type to make this happen but I would also like to try and surprise him first...I thought it was soooo lush and romantic and just well beautiful in the scene on friends where ross and rachel went on a date and he took her to the museum where he took her on stage and arranged the setting that they were laying under the stars.....how would i go about doing this? I have thought about maybe laying on the beach but I live up north in the uk and it's absolutely freezing to lay on the beach :o(

anyone got any ideas?

I think you should adopt a star and name it after him or the both of you, then when you are lying under the stars, you can tell him, thats us!

you could buy a packet of those stick-on fluorescent stars and planets that glow in the dark when the lights are off, and stick them on your bedroom ceiling. You can buy them off catalogues and some gift shops. OK, it's not the real thing but, realistically, it's March and it's FREEZING and you really don't want to lay outside in the cold and get piles, do you? So make it your own secret paradise, stick them on your ceiling, switch on the heating full blast, you and he wear your beach clothes and lie down on the carpet, put on a little romantic music, switch off the lights and pretend that you are gazing up at your own private universe ......
sounds like you have a great sense of humour so I'm sure you and he can enjoy this, and perhaps enjoy the real stars under moonlight on your honeymoon.

MORE INFORMATION: saw that you requested where to get this stuff. Try The Glow Company - the link is: http://www.theglowcompany.co.uk/cgi-bin/ss000001.pl?SS=moon+stars&PR=-1&TB=A&SHOP=

My famous Wiccan authors are Janet and Stewart Farrar, Doreen Valiente, Isaac Bonewits (sure he's a Druid, yet he's likewise initiated as a Gardnerian), and Gerald Gardner. Get a replica of the Farrars' _A Witches' Bible Complete_. notwithstanding if the greater classic, coven based "intense church" Wicca isn't your concern, that is a vital e book to study. you additionally can prefer to study some books on the history and sociology of the Neopagan circulation, like Ronald Hutton's _Triumph of the Moon_, Margot Adler's _Drawing Down the Moon_, amd T. M. Luhrmann's _Persuasions of the Witch's Craft_. additionally, study Doreen Valiente's _Rebirth of Witchcraft_, and Aiden Kelly's _Crafting the paintings of Magic_ -- study them the two to get 2 different factors of a similar tale, and fantastically after analyzing the Farrars.

Find a hill outside of a town (the countryside has a lot less light polution so you'll see the stars much clearer), then on a clear night, take your partner, something hot to drink and a big blanket and snuggle together on top of the hill underneath the stars.

well pre plan, find a nice spot have a friend lay out a blanket, or you put it there prior. have an excuse to go out for a walk e.g say you ran out of milk and you'll stumble across the perfect spot to gaze at stars.
