Tension in my neck. How do I relieve it without meds.?

I have had it for the past 12 hours. I have a headache to go with it. Once the neck feels better I know the headache will go away.

Have you had tension in the neck before this? Did you have an injury or car accident or is it caused by too much stress? Does anyone in your family have the same problem? Do you sit at a computer (for work)? Stress causes alot of disorders in your body!
Also, a very warm bath in epsom salts is helpful and then get someone to massage your neck. I use a warm neck wrap which I heat up and put on the back of my neck to soothe my sore muscles. Taking Hatha Yoga is also good for tension in your body.

Try moist heat, like a damp towel warmed up in the microwave, or a heating pad and also gentle stretching. Relaxation and deep breathing may also help. Good luck!

hey r u havig any desi man at the place u r living so do call him and tell bout urs problem he will solve it out without any pain or may be urs grandfather and grandmother can also do this............................ do try it bcoz i also do hate the medicines and i mostly bear the pain ir if it is really troubling a lot then i do consult mine grand mother or a desi man

try alternating heat and ice
