yes the aerial gives it the signal needed if you dont have an outside aerial and have an indoor one i found the electric run aerials to do a great job i got mine from argos for about £19

Yup!
Just the other week we got rid of cable telly. Just couldn't stand it any longer...!
Got the freeview box, knowing we needed an aerial. Unfortunately, because of where we live, we had to buy a Booster box too...!
Works perfect now.
No more thousands o f channels with nothing on, and when there is , bloody adverts..!, no more constant channel surfing, no more freezing, grrrr!

Well, yes. Otherwise apart from language, picture size and menu colour you can't do a lot until you have a signal going into the box.

Yes indeedy. You can use an indoor aerial but dont expect to get all the channels

yup - it dosent have to be an outdoor one though! It can be a nice small indoor one in you like. Follow the instructions in the box, their simple enough. Believe me!
