Eat more low calorie stuff like carrots, and stuff. Instead of white bread, eat whole wheat instead. Avoid penut butter, it will put the pounds on. And do plenty of exersise.

The best way is to eat 6 small but balanced meals to keep a caloric deficit while staying out of starvation mode. Avoid greasy foods. An example of a good meal in your case could be red beans + rice+ broccoli or Cottage cheese + raisins (as a snack).

Also, start a regular exercise program which includes weight training. Weight training increases your lean mass and helps you to burn extra calories 24 hrs/day. Also, cardio helps.

Here are some links. One is a healthy foods list from which you can simply cross out the meats and use the rest to do your grocery shopping and meal planning.
One is a weekly workout program.
The third is a Caloric Requirements Estimator. Put in your weight, and your best estimate of your percent body fat and it will calculate your nutrient and caloric requirements to lose fat while avoiding starvation mode.

Fats are nothing more than stored acid. If you continue to take acidic food, even with exercise you cannot get rid of fats. Therefore you must solve the weight problem at the source : eating acidic food. By taking alkaline food, you prevent the intake of acid to create more fats. Besides doing exercise, you must eat only alkaline food.
Read the book "pH miracle for weight loss". See photos of people losing weight at ease. If you want to loose weight super fast, there is an alkaline liquid diet. According the book, people are loosing 10 pounds or more within the first 8 days. Go to the website below to see which food (and even fruits) that are acidic.

Wow... a vegetarian getting fat? I'm shocked.

Are you gaining weight, or have you been stable for some time? If you are gaining weight, then you have cut something out. Do you drink sugary soft drinks? Do you drink a lot of beer or alcohol? If so, stop.

Then exercise. Get a heart rate monitor watch that monitors how many calories you burn. Exercise so you burn 500 a day. You'll be back at 30" in no time.
