My brother is wanting a tattoo and I'm trying to talk him out of it.I've told him all the facts like, most people with tattoos have sexually transmitted diseases.I'm not sure why that is,but I think it's because women with tattoos have alot of sex partners or maybe it's the needles.
I need any help I can get
Thanks

Thank you Green, for having the courage to step forward and help talk your brother away from sin.

It is true, most women who have tattoos are loose, thus leading to many decaying diseases. As is written in Exodus, women will whore themselves, and lead their brothers in Christ to whoring as well.

Ah, but i digress. Just take him through an AIDS ward, and let him know this is his future once he embraces Satan with said bodily art work.

Amen

Amen

First of all, I disagree that most of the people with tattoos have sexually transmitted diseases, I am not sure where you have heard that.

I think the issue to address is why your brother wants to get a tattoo? Is it because he wants to express his affection for a woman or is he trying to make some statement? The reason is really the issue for you to address.

He should know that a tattoo is not something you can just get rid of simply because your feelings or opinions may change in the future. It will stay there permamently unless he wants to spend quite a bit of money to have it removed.

"Women with tattoos have alot of sex partners"??? That's the stupidest thing I've ever heard. I guess only women should be responsible for their sexuality. I mean, those poor men! They just can't be held accountable for their actions....idiocy. Unless he gets a tattoo in a crack house by an AIDS victim using dirty needles, getting a tattoo is pretty safe these days unless you're a hemophiliac. The only thing you can do to discourage your brother is to have him talk to others that have tattoos. The majority of people with tats always regret getting them. They're permanent. They don't come off and they eventually fade and end up looking like blue-green indistinguishable blobs on peoples bodies.

Where did you get your "facts"? I have never heard that one and doubt that it is true.
Any respectable tattoo parlor sterilizes their needles so that would not be an issue. As for the women being "loose," that is ridiculous. I have a tattoo and have not had "a lot of sex partners."
If you want to give your brother a good reason for not getting a tattoo, tell him that it will hinder his ability to get a job if he gets in in a place that may be seen.

You are wrong. I have a tattoo. I wasn't any more promiscuous than any other woman I know. I want to get 2-3 more of them and I'm married with 2 kids, I just like tattoos. Who's body is he getting the tattoo on? His or yours?
My husband has 2 of them. Neither of us has ever had an STD. Ever. Maybe your brother knows you blow a lot of smoke out of your *** and that's why he's not listening to you.
There is a risk of contracting Hepatitis C, but as long as he's going to a reputable place they have sterilization and the risk is very small. Licensed shops are inspected to ensure they are following health guidelines.

Your information is totaly incorrect. Tattoos are "in," and there are many tattoo parlors who are very clean and professional. Also, having a tattoo has NOTHING to do with sex or sexually-transmitted diseases.

Personally, I think tattoos are absolutely ridiculous and disgusting. But that's me, and I try not to impose my own personal beliefs on others. I do not judge other people that have tattoos - even if they have a lot of them. To each their own. Different strokes for different folks. Different people like different cars, and music. It's their body, not yours. It's their life, not yours. Do not get into the habit of judging people because they think differently from you or look different that you.

tell your brother how YOU feel, then let him make his own decision, and respect his decision.

ive never heard that tattoos give you std's..lol. but anyway i have 3 and I dont have a lot of sex partners. it's your brothers body and if he really wants one, no matter what you say he will get one. just make sure he goes to a clean place and they use a new needle.

well for a start if you go to a reputable artist they will use new needles that have been sterilised. i have quite a few tattoos and im definetly not a slapper. i think that providing your brother is old enough, he should be able to make up his own mind, maybe you should help him choose a tattoo that hes not going to regret rather than trying to influence him.

lol no STDs for me and I have 2. You need to start checking your facts!

A long time ago when they used to do tattoos and share needles, maybe STDs may have been passed around. But nowadays (atleast at a good tattoo parlor) every needle is fresh just for you.

Tell your brother to do what he wants to do!

How does tattoos transmitt diseases. I think you should advise him that tattoos are permanent. He has to think about it real hard. I have been wanting a tattoo for sometime but still havent done it yet. Is he doing this for fun or is it to remind him of someone or a certain memory.
