I have lived in DC since 8/06, but have been mistakenly paying the MD state tax. What tax forms will fix this?

I also lived on a MD university during the tax year while still working in DC.

My husband was working in Tx. a few years ago but the state taxes had to be paid in his home state of NC, it seems crazy to me but ask a tax accountant to be sure.

MD Department of Revenue will have a form for a refund.
