My Pekingese female dog keeps squating and rubing its bottom on the ground as she moves forward also she is not eating anything. Is this a sign of worms infestation.

It could be. If you have your dog groomed, the groomer cleans out their anal glands, if they are not doing that, please ask them to. Or ask the vet. Small dogs get stopped up when their glands are not cleaned at least every two months. She may not be eating cause she can't get rid of what she has. Bloating and stuff. Feel her stomach, if it is hard she is having trouble with her bowels. Good Luck, hope this enlightened you a bit.

It sounds like worms to me - have her checked out at the vets and if he gives her the all clear most grooming parlours will clean out a dogs anal glands as part of a standard wash and groom session.

Yes I'm pretty sure she has worms. Worms travel to the anal area to lay eggs. So now it means that your dog's worms are multiplying. Get her dewormed. Go to the vet pronto!

Most likely it is impacted anal glands. Dogs normally empty them then they go potty, but some dogs, mostly small breeds have problems doing this themselves. Go to your vet or groomer and have them show you how to express them. It's a disgusting job but it needs to be done regularly and it will stop the scooting.

I think that this is a sign of worm infestation. Berfore you take her to the vet, check her poo for worms. This is one sure way to know.

She needs to have her anal glands expressed...sometimes waste gets trapped in there. It cost about $15....my dog had it done yesterday.

Pinworms - this is a classic symptom.

Take her to your vet, and the vet will give you a tablet for her that will take care of it.
