Hi,
I am really irritated with this whole grant thing and I need some real help I will tell you a little bit I am a single mom of 2 young boys and I want to buy my first house, problem I have looked online and either someone wants me to buy a cd or I dont understand what in the world to look for so if you can help me I would be forever gratefull.

It is not as easy as the television commercial seems about locating government grants to purchase things. In order to get a government grant, you must meet certain requirements such as meeting or being under a certain income. Unfortunately, some of these programs have a waiting list or the waiting list is closed. I will list some links which should help.

i suggest going to the public library and get a grant book (title free money" i think ) by matthew lesok. As the librarian about it. There is also, HUD and department of housing for assistance. Habitat for humanity. Also, check lowes and home improvement' s websites...yes, these are companies names. also, look for foreclosed homes...detroit..you can get a house less than 50,000
