I use sunsilk straighten up in the purple bottle. It says to put it in dry or wet. I tried dry and it made my hairy realy greasy and dirty feeling. I then tried it wet and the next morning when i straigtend my hair i saw a big diffrence, than not using it! It mad my hair straighten faster and made it soo much smoother.

*GOOD LUCK*

The protectant is actually protecting against the heat not the straightener.

Apply a little protectant before you blow-dry. Once your hair is dry apply a little more before you straighten.

I put on make it straight gel by V05 while my hair is still wet, then I blow dry it and then I straighten it. It makes your hair look less oily and helps get the gel on more evenly.
