Cut it, especially if that's what you want to do. If you like your new shorter hair, you will exude loads of confidence and that is more appealing than anything. And if your BF doesn't want you to do it, that sounds like he could be a little controlling in the future. He should be saying,"Do whatever makes you happy babe, I'll stick with ya no matter what."
You'd be surprised how much more defined your features and eyes will be once you cut it! I had long hair and I cut it all off (to my shoulders) and my husband confessed that he likes it shorter because it makes my green eyes POP! Go for it!

Oh dear why do so many men go for the long hair thing lol. As a guy i think you should cut it as you say yourself its doing your head in so it sounds like your really fed up with it now and a change is as good as a rest as the saying goes. Theres some terrific haircuts out there especially bobs so classic and never go out of style. Even some really short cuts can look fabulous on certain women. Have you a certain short haircut you a fancy getting already? If you fancy a chat look me up on yahoo 1 night. Good luck

Your head, your hair, you get to pick. If he's willing to carry the extra weight, brush and wash your hair, deal with tangles in the morning and pay for shampoo and conditioner, then by all means, keep the hair long! But if it's bugging you, then it is time for a haircut. There are still very feminine and pretty hair cuts you can get. And hair grows.

i got here upon this to be the case as nicely. I even have merely above the shoulder hair. all the varieties looked such as you had to have extremely long hair. my hair ought to in basic terms improve so long. i might say which includes your short hair a tiara could be advantageous. do you have a gown yet? attempt on the gown and then placed the tiara on. you could desire to be sure the way all of it seems, attempt the tiara closer to the brow first and then artwork it back. some tiaras look extra useful up front, some look extra useful sitting back. yet another thought...a band of plant existence that could bypass all the way around your head with the veil unbelievable down from it. delight on your wedding ceremony!

Don't have a drastic cut, instead slowly introduce him to the shorter length by having an inch cut of every 8 weeks.

It's about what you want, find a length that you both can agree on, don't think twice about cutting your hair if it's being a problem to you

If you have it cut . Seriously only about 25mm at a time this will keep your hair long and thick . Your boyfriend will love you even more. My hair is way down my back and my boyfriend loves it. (All the best Lorna.)

If you're BF loves you he will love you no matter what length you're hair is.Also, think about donating it to "Locks of Love" which is a charity that makes wigs for kids with Cancer. You need at least 12 inches of cut off hair to donate.

As a hairstylist I deal with this question a lot.
A hairstyle is a reflexion of the person wearing it. If you want to cut your hair, CUT YOUR HAIR. It is your hair do what you want.
If your b/f loves you for you then he will love you if your hair reflects who you are. If he dumps you because of your cut then he's supperficial and not worth your time.
