If not why do some people calling themselves Christians do it? Some people in this forum are trying to have my account deleted because I am Catholic (also a Christian) . The specific offenders are Tribble Macher, who promised I would have a problem this very week (now i see what he meant) JC Redding who actually tells people he is doing it, and Don S who looks specifically for my Q&A several hours later and posts nasty comments on my questions. Tribble and DonS also send me hate e-mails. Is it a good Christian deed they are doing?

Your ENTIRE Yahoo account gets deleted not just answers usage

NO. There is no reason to harass anybody. I thought this forum was about sharing ideas, personnel experiences, asking questions. If you are not purposely yanking their strings they need help, hell even if you are, they shouldn't be sending you hate mail. Isn't that against the law?

First of all, anyone who spends a significant amount of time trying to ban someone else from answers needs to Get a Life. I enjoy Yahoo! Answers, but if I were banned today, I'd be just as happy. i don't NEED Yahoo! Answers to have a fulfilling life.

Secondly, I wish my fellow Christians would be more Christ-like in showing the unconditional respect that Christ showed everyone when interacting with them. I think instead, it is their own insecurity which has them spouting off, actually alienating the people they claim they want to convert, and doing more damage than good. Don't confuse their insecurity with Christianity. There are plenty of "normal" Christians out there. The problem is that you're hearing the most vocal of the ones that have issues not relating to Christianity at all.

The problem is that these guys don't fit in anywhere, and now they can label themselves "Christian Internet Evangelists" and feel good about themselves.

My advice: Ignore them. They'll find someone else to bother.

You are misguided in your questioning. You are looking for a reason to point a finger at Christians when your answer is within your question.

I'm not getting into the specifics, but the issue is simply you are dealing with PEOPLE. People have a tendacy to judge. The idea of pointing out Christians would be the same as saying all whites commit racial acts against blacks, or all blacks are looking to steal, or harm others.

I'm a Christian and I can same the same about most of the non-believers (or other religious followers) on this site, but I refuse to categorize like that. I simple say that PEOPLE are quick to judge Christians.

I'm on this site to answer the questions of those who are earnestly seeking an answer. Yep, I had run-ins with a lot of people I didn't vibe with (Sho-Nuff) and I went off on them at times.

Fact of the matter is it's not a Christain vs. non-Christian thing. It's a PEOPLE issue.

Are you a good person? What a question, most of us believe that we are good people because we can look around and find someone that is far worse than we are. We can always point to the things that we think make us a good person.

But how good are we really? Dare we take this test and look at ourselves and see if we really are good? Hmmm.

If you are willing try this and see just how good a person you are.

The Good Person Test.

How will you do? Pass or fail?

Have you ever told a lie?
Doesn't matter how big or small, just a lie.
What does that make you? Before answering think about this, if I told you a lie what would you call me? A liar?

Have you ever stolen anything? Cost doesn't matter, a piece of gum, failed to give back an ink pen that you borrowed, anything.
What does that make you?

Jesus said, "You know the saying of old, you shall not commit adultery but I say that if look at someone to lust after them you have committed adultery in your heart.
Have you ever lusted?

Jesus said that hate is equal to murder.
Have you ever hated anyone?

See one day we all are going to stand before a Holy God on Judgment Day and he is going to judge us based on His Holy Law, the Ten Commandments. These are just 4 of them and how did you do? Guilty? I have broken all of these and more, what about you? How well will you do on Judgment Day?

If we break just one point of God's Law we are guilty of breaking all the law and Gods Wrath abides upon us all. Based on God's Law we are all guilty and all are deserving of punishment. But there is an out for us.

Jesus paid the price for each one of us, took on himself God's Wrath so we wouldn't have to face it on our own. Jesus was beaten, battered, bleed and died so we wouldn't have to face God's Wrath. He rose again so that we would life in his presence. Our crimes, His payment.

The real question is where will you stand on Judgment Day. Pay yourself or have it paid for you. Think about it.

Makes one wonder why they choose to represent Christ doesn't it. I have never had a problems with any of these loving guys, but then again, I am not of another denomination.

I enjoy a good hate email every now and then, it lets me know I am on the right track and the nuts are agitated.

Some people just never graduate high school....

oh wait,
There actually ARE high school kids on this forum!

There are many immature people you have to deal with for the rest of your life
the best appropriate response is to laugh at them,
we know we are above them,
you have nothing to prove.

Of course it is wrong. I am a Christian and have no desire to see your account deleted. I have no idea why these people are being mean to you. By the way 2 of my accounts go deleted.

Those are the kind of "Christians" who give Christianity a bad name.

Not a good practice......

Like I said David, we don't see eye to eye here. But I would never try to have your account deleted....that's just rude.
