I have neurofibromatosis type 1 and many tumours on my nerve endings that cause a lot of pain. Any advice on how to minimise the pain as my medication no longer helps.

Have you tried the drugs that are designed for nerve pain - like gabapentin or amitriptyline? If not speak to your doctor about a possible trial of them.

If you have already tried these then ask your doctor to refer you to the pain management clinic at your local hospital - they can usually manage to help difficult cases where all else has appeared to fail.

I hope you find something that gives you relief x
