you would have to bleach out a few pieces...go buy a highlighting kit, and put pieces where you want them, but you dont need to bleach to blonde....a coppery color will work just fine, then go to hot topic and buy their pink haircolor, and put it on the blonde pieces. Or another fun thing would be to find some pink clip in extensions for your hair, that way you can move em around and take em out if you change your mind if even for a day. Not sure where to get the clipins...but I have seen them on other people. you would just life your hair, clip em in, and then put your hair down over em, and no one can even tell

If you put pink over your dark brown, it would look just like if you colored with a dark brown crayon on paper, then took a pink crayon and colored over it. It would barely be noticeable. You have to lighten a few chunks of hair, then add the pink in order to get the truest color of pink that you want. I have tried everything like this on my dark brown hair, and know that even if you lighten your hair, if its not totally bleached (still has a hint of brown), it will look like a dirty pink color. Just visualize what would happen if you used crayons on paper..how that would look. Pink crayon only looks brightest on a white paper background...not dark brown, medium brown, nor light brown. Good luck and I hope it works for you!

All in the time of severe college I dyed the excellent below of my hair crimson, and that i've got for sure very dark brown hair. some crimson streaks will look great! i think of pinks and reds seems maximum suitable in brown hair because of the fact it rather pops, whilst blues and purples i think of are maximum suitable proper for blondes or merely lighters browns.

No.It would not do anything. You have to bleach the streaks that you want pink, then rinse and dry, then apply the pink haircolor.I would strongly suggest letting a professional do it.Home hair jobs can be bad sometimes.

If you want to dye your hair (even a few strands) in a much lighter color than your natural one, then you have to bleach it first. If you don't, then the color will be very different from what you had in mind, or it will not even be visible.

No, it won't work. You would need to bleach/lighten it first and then add the pink dye.
