As long as the item is oven safe, you can put it in the oven. I have a skillet I use when making frittatta (Italian omlet) that does not have any plastic handles or fittings and is oven safe to 550.
The same would work for a saucepan, just check to make sure it's oven safe and you'll be fine.

it truthfully relies upon on the form of casserole dish you're using. no count if that's a Pyrex dish it may bypass from the refrigerator to the oven without a hitch. even with the undeniable fact that, no count if that's barely a particularly dish (porcelain) you could pass it to a dish this is oven secure. you could truthfully placed a Pyrex dish rapidly from the freezer to a chilly oven and then initiate the oven in case you prefer. The dish that broke will possibly no longer have broken from a metamorphosis in temperature yet quite from purely a comfortable "banging" because it became set down in the sink. That mixed with the warmth difference could reason it to shatter. desire that's efficient. playstation do no longer reheat meat in the microwave, it gets difficult

Your best bet is actually cast iron cookware. You can use Lodge's products, which are plain and reasonable in cost, or you can go all the way to enamel-coated Le Cruset cast iron from France that costs hundreds of dollars. I go with Lodge and my collector-quality Griswold pieces - that way I can afford gas for the ol' motorcar...

It depends on what you're making. Casseroles are generally low and wide. If you're using a skillet that is low and wide I don't see why it wouldn't work. But if you're sauce pan is high and narrow the food will not cook properly.
