Both, you need to have an optimal. If you spend too much time with each other, then you get bored and start taking things for granted as well as stop appreciating things, but if you spend much time far apart from each other then you will drift further and further away from each other resulting in a break up.

the relationship is like the string of a bow, if it is too tight it may cut, if it is too loos it cant fire the arrow...So you need to find the golden point, that depends on the string and the bow (the two partners). you can only find this point by trying...

hope i help you on this one sister...

Sounds like you both argue a lot.

I always found it good to spend lots of time together. My wife and I each do things separately, too. I have my friends come over one day a week to play a card game or a board game. She goes out to a restaurant, or whatever she wants.

If you can't be together, then why get married?

It sounds as though you and your man are not best friends. If your relationship is based strictly on sex or physical attraction, its not a good match.
My wife is my best friend, bar none. Even though we spend a lot of time together we don't fight, and seldom get on each others nerves. It works quite well.

i find that when im with my girlfriend a lot we sort of might bicker back and forth about little things. but i think that when we are away we argue more. we were long distance for like 5 months and it was A LOT of arguing. so yea i think that if you are together a lot, you might have short arguments about small things, but being away you have bigger ones.

too much time together does cause tension. but not enough time together does the same. you have to find that comfort zone, when there's no tension and you both get fair amount of time with eachother
