what are good conversation questions to have with your significant other?

I talk to my fiance on the phone every night and for the past 10 years he's always done most of the talking, cause he says that I never have anything to talk about. Lately we haven't talked because he told me that I need to talk more on the phone, but how can I when he says that what i bring up to talk about is irrelevant?

First of all, how rude! Here you are, trying your darndest to start a conversation and he complains about it? Please. But if you really need conversational topics, I would suggest looking at interesting news or articles and telling him about them and asking how he feels about it. You can also play fun thinking games like "what would you do if..." or talking about interesting or beautiful things you've seen that day.
