To reduce warming: Tax carbon, float white things in the ocean, reduce greenhouse gases.

Carbon sequestration is storing carbon away, indefinitely, generally *after* the fuel is burned. See the wikipedia reference. At high pressures, carbon dioxied liquifies, and can in theory be stored underground in empty oil wells and other cavities.

Carbon sequestration is the process of removing the carbon from fuels, usually by either steam reforming or partial oxidation. Both processes produce CO and Hydrogen. The CO can then be reacted with steam to produce additional H2 and carbon dioxide. The CO2 is removed from this mix and put somewhere, usually into deep wells, where it is believed to remain. The hydrogen can be burned to produced heat energy.

If partial oxidation is used, the additional heat can be recovered from the oxidation step. Steam reforming is endothermic and requires heat input. This heat usually comes from burning natural gas.
