is it ok to like the same guy your friend is going out with and still have feelings for your ex? advice is truly needed

Only if you act on it. I think in your heart you know it is ok to have feelings about your mates girlfriend as long as you never act on them. IF (and it's a big if) they split up naturally then you can test the water with him to see if it would bother him by telling him you always thought he had done well for himself - he may even tell you to go for it, i did with a mate who liked a ex of mine. As for the feelings for your ex - sounds to me like you just want to be a in healthy relationship and unless she is always on your mind, don't go back.

yes but u cant really act on it. you cant make out with your friends gf/bf and you cant do anything rash that would hurt your relationship.
you can have feelings for your ex but it is up to u whether u wanna go back with him/her--put a pick this is difficult knowing whether u are a guy or girl so i can give the appropriate advice for the gender!!
