My boyfriend broke up with me recently, B cos i would argue about how little time we were spending together, b cos of other obligations he has. We have remained friends, he tells me he still loves me, misses me,and get jelous if he sees me getting chatted up. But yet, if i ask him back, he says it's best we dont! I really dont know what to think!

Let me ask you this, if you were back with him what would change?? are his other obligations less now??? or are you more willing to accept less than what you think you are worth now?? Noone wants to be in a relationship where there is nothing but arguments.
What were his other obligations??? He wasnt "working late" was he?? (sorry just been watching that stupid cheaters show)

because you stopped being fun and made him think of you as a JOB with responsibility...maybe he just want to have fun without all the drama that comes with "where were you?" or "you know i have been waiting for you" ..that is not what a guy want to hear when he is tired, hungry or you know?...
He sounds like he knows what he is doing..playing the field..but he may or may not come back...but if you change your attitude and don't be so needy..you would stand a better chance..He may still be salvaged..as you two do have a history..and it sounds like you both enjoyed some of the time you spent together...so just learn from your past mistakes and next time you will know not what to do..good luck..its a jungle out there!

give him a while. Then ask him you can take him out for cofee or for dinner, just to talk and hangout. Dont rush into asking him right away. if you nag at him constantly about things, dont. Definatly dont argue. Guys hate arguing. Just kinda take control of yourself and get on top and show him that you can do with out him and when he sees you can do without him he will more than likely come back.

Give him room.. Make sure you are at your best everyday attitude and appearance. Act like you have other options by hanging out with different guys every now and then, just show him that your world don't revolve around him. Good Luck!

You should try to apologies to him,and make him understand how you too love him so much and will like to cope no matter any lapses in future. The truth is that women always need someone they love to be by them that the reason for such argument.please try to aviod it in future.Goodluck.

Tell him that you need to move on unless he can give you a reason not to. If he says because he still has feelings, tell him that's not good enough, either he's with you, or you are going to be with somebody else, and he can just lump it because it was his choice.

take him for his word...that he means what he says and does not want that type of relationship with you.
that does not mean he is not having difficulty in getting over seeing you with other people and the other usual breakup stuff...we all go through it even if we are the one who ended the relationship.
but believe what he says...it is over...accept it and move on.
