They simply say scientific truths are lies, and mythological lies are truth, and never give it a second thought. For that matter, they never give it a first thought.

Actually, this is part of a theological debate in many circles of the church. There is actually a diversion between "New World" and "Old World" Christians as to how to interpret the geneologies in Genesis. Depending on your school, recorded history could be spread out much further in the past that 4000 some odd years, allowing for fossils to exist (with some discrepancies). Then there are even a few rare Christians who believe that the Bible isn't the whole story, just the important parts. I chalk it all up to "Not enough evidence" and move on.

The reality is that the Bible doesn't talk about pre-historic animals, so as thinking people (who happen to be Christian) we must go with the evidence that is presented. If you'll notice when Jesus left he said He was coming back soon but it's been a couple thousand years since he left so NO ONE knows the time-line of God and as such can not say for certain that He did not make dinosaurs...that was probably His plan for the world. First dinosaurs, then men. That's what the evidence shows right?

Here is something else to consider.
When God created the earth and everything on it, it was created with an "age". Adam was not created as a baby, he was created with the appearance of a physical age. He may have only been seconds old but from all appearances would probably have been a man in his twenties.
The same goes for the plants and animals. God created the trees with a "physical" age. They were not all created as samplings or seeds but as full grown trees with a "physical" age.
Today, we use carbon to date various objects, fossils etc. Based on the "theory" above, the carbon and other chemicals used had a "physical" age when the earth was created. Wouldn't you think this would throw off the dating process??
The Bible states that God created EVERYTHING on this earth and that would have included dinosaurs.

Some of us have enough sense to know there were dinosaurs and races of humans that didn't survive (Neanderthals etc.) and I personally know the Bible has to be full of metaphors and stories for primitive people.
Yet science cannot prove where all matter came from. It cannot be destroyed so where did it come from? They say they haven't figured that out yet.
I believe God made a helluva Big Bang when matter was created and then Evolution managed on it's own here on earth, just like we do. Yet I know there's another life full of light that I saw and I believe in the gifts of the Holy Spirit because I experienced a healing when headed for surgery and without any faith that came from me. I was bothered by the prayer and wanted to get it over with.
I have seen too much to deny God. Yet the Bible say blessed is he who has NOT seen yet believes. So I have no excuse!!

The Bible hints about 2 different periods of creation. It starts off with a global flood and God creating all for the present time period. There is not allot of information about the first creation, and I'm sure God has his reasons for that.
But between the Bible hints and fossils, the earth's crust shows fossils in different era's.
So, it seems the first Paradise got corrupted by Satan, and was destroyed. And the earth remained void until the re-creation, that Jesus spoke about.
God says he BOTH sanctified his name and will again. But he gave us his rainbow, to remind himself not to judge with a flood again.
It seems from the evidence of frozen animals in different places that there were no dinosaurs with them, as evidence of the second flood. No doubt they were removed before Adam, as it is common sense that Dino's and humans cannot successfully inhabit the earth and intermingle. It would be a disaster for the humans.
We humans need to repent, as God could get rid of us and put the Dino's back. Malachi tells us Elijah is coming to teach families to love each other or he will strike the earth and devote it to destruction.

Not all Christians are anti science - anti truth. some do accept that the world did exist before humans evolved.
The Creationists just finish the whole argument with such a ridiculous notion that it becomes absurd. Well it finish off any possibility of taking them or their message with any seriousness.
They are now a threat just like their fundamental Islamic counterparts.

I am a Christian. I believe in creation. The way I believe and have been taught is that there were dinosaurs..it even says so in the bible. A lot of people think that God created the universe in 7 days and that was it. BUT in the bible it says that a day to God is but a 1000 years to us. What I am trying to say is...that yes God created the universe in 7 days (to us) but say the first day he created the heavens & earth in between these days could be thousands of millions of years. This is when the dinosaurs were on earth. So for Christians to say this is not true and disregard dinosaurs is wrong and they need to research their bible.

I asked the same question to a religious friend of mine, she thought about it a moment and said "I don't know" and was fine with that huge hole in her knowledge and understanding of her faith that dictated her life, that is why I say nay to any organized religon. Apparently not knowing is good enough...? I hope you get a real answer from them, I'm still looking lol

From my understanding of creationism, they use to claim that these fossils were put there by Satan to make Christians disbelieve the Bible.
Now they believe that most of these fossils were creatures who were wiped out by the flood.
