i cannot have anymore kids.....he took it very hard.....hes 21 now and has been asking around about me and trying to get intouch......should i just leave it alone?

Well he is in lust. Young girls don't put out, you provide a zero pressure relationship he can't get with younger girls.
You did right thing. Something most people can't do.
The magic 18. All sudden mature and understand all emotions. One of many myths. 18 years olds are years away from been in control of lust, showing off, having patience.
Best thing you can do is be with someone older than you and have a clean break from this needy child.
