I feel it is important to humble yourself...on"knees" in prayer...whatever your belief...I encounter many faiths in my travels...and while some are disturbing and hard to fathom; I always come back to my "roots".

Atheists just haven't found a path.

I will bring gifts, and plan on making more duck soup.

Amir is troubling...at least you've got one child going the right direction.

I undergo in strategies one celebration, years in the past, as quickly as I first began utilising the internet and chat rooms. I sent an email and neglected a letter out of the recipient's handle as i replace into typing it in...yet rather of bouncing, it went to an entire stranger with the help of mistake! They sent it lower back some days later....with the words "incorrect guy or woman" in the subject line. There might have been some different events as quickly as I even have by twist of fate sent a message to a chum it replace into no longer meant for....yet i think of the occasion above is the only time I even have sent something to an entire stranger. It replace right into a splash embarrassing on the time....yet i did no longer pursue it added....and that i've got been given over it at as quickly as.

Could you define Knee mail so I can understand the question?

Ohh ok - that was cleaver - I think there is nothing wrong with "knee" mail if you get up after you send the message and do everything it takes to make the prayers come true!

At ease, please! Not all of us fit into this category. Please don't think we do.

And, quite frankly .... who are we to condemn
"the modern world" as bad, when there is so much good in it .... and it is not up to us to be angry with others and put them down for something when we actually have no real idea who does what .... it's a big world and how can we take a poll of several billion people?..... we can say a devout, heartfelt prayer on the bus, we can give thanks to God anywhere, on the way up the elevator to our offices, on the way to the market to buy coffee, on the way to pick up the children from school......

Let go, let God!!!!!

Love it!! I love the way you described prayer- one thing though we cannot expect atheists to pray- you are absolutely right though God is God of everything-

For the person who said, if God wanted us on our knees we would all be there- not necessarily He has given us a choice- I choose to pray!!

Atheists do not pretend there is a god .
They are waiting for the proof of a god .
No one in the last 2000 years has ever provided proof just words .If your god was real and powerful as you say ,then he would reveal himself to all .

so how many times have you spent several hours in a row standing, in deep prayer, after about 18 hours of 100% fasting? (no water, no food) and all day of sitting and standing and praying

try it. its actually quite fulfilling. (I'm talking about Yom Kippur services, if you stay for the *whole* time)

a morning, heh, thats nothin.
