how should one come back with the enthusiasm and energise after some failure or unwanted things have happened?

My method includes prayer to my God (I am a Christian), and I try to look for the reason for the failure and determine to learn from the mistakes or upsets.

I also gather my friends to encourage me and help me explain the situation from another person's perspective (I may have a skewed version in my mind)
