anti-histamine tablets and use a insect replenant after sun.
you must be allergic to insect bites. if you get one take the tablets, use the aftersun and by benedrill insect cream [sorry can't spell it]...my mum is allergic to insect bites too and she says it really good.

insect repellent spray or lotion would be best to take to ward off the bugs.

for the bites-benadryl works best for swelling. bring along the 25mg tablets and the cream too. dosage for the tablets is 1-2 every 6 hours as needed but keep in mind they will make you sleepy so if you need to be up and about-use the cream to treat the bites.

calamine lotion works good for bites too-you can bring that with.

I've read that eating lots of garlic will keep mosquitos away. The question is,.. can anyone really handle eating alot of garlic everyday?? How bad would we smell?? YUK!! If I were you, I would try taking the odorless garlic tablets. I dont know if it really works or not, but the article said that it does. Garlic is good for your health, so it wouldn't hurt.

Use a plug in insect repeller in your accomodation, and a spray, cream or wipes for your body. Take some non drowsy anti histamine with you in case either method should fail. All bases covered, have a good holiday.

swelling from mosquito's is an allergy..
benedryl reduces swelling... soak in ebsons salts too... reduces swelling also..
also u can try using mosquito repellent..
if u dont want the drowsiness from benedryl... use the cream version on your feet :) works wonderfully when my hands swell from being too dry and irritated... im allergic to a lot of creams..

I have read on a website that taking garlic tablets helps, to stop them biting you I guess they mustnt like the taste of you when you are infused in garlic.
