German police officers wear olive green shirts and dark green sweatshirts and jackets. Why? Does anyone agree that the colours have no taste?

Personally I think a Black Uniform may remind some of the Waffen SS and the atrocities attributed to that army group in WW2.

Try looking at the unform of the Guardia Civil in Spain, military green again, they are a military organisation and maybe too, the German police are too? Militaristic uniforms brings about an military attitude, but thats not always such a good thing!

Different POLICE forces different uniforms,
it does not look that bad, it is quite smart actually....
Green is the colour of the forests, which in Germany are as good as their POLICEFORCE......

They probably dont want to wear black because it reminds them of the Allgemeine-SS and their black uniforms, which is really nothing to be ashamed of, but they try and shy away of something they should be proud of

Yes, they have no taste, but that's it: The shirts are as ugly as the people who wear them!!! Germans are ugly and stupid, that's the reason.

when i was there they wore the same ugly uniform
