I fell out with BT 2 years ago. I havent had a landline since. I want to use the internet at home so I need a phone provider that doesnt involve BT. Any ideas who I can use.

"UK landline suppliers: who, why, how?
BT and the major cable companies all supply landlines in the UK. So you pay these companies for both your line rental and your calls. But you can, through Wholesale Line Rental switch your landline to a new supplier. You will no longer have a contract with BT, but with the new landline supplier. Switching does not involve any work on the phone line into your house and you keep your existing phone number. What’s more, some suppliers don’t require that you sign a 12 month contract. Cable suppliers do require a 12 month contract, as do certain plans where broadband or other services are bundled in the same package." uswitch.com

What can I say that's already been said. It's not an easy position that you're in. BT appears to be the best phone company and they merged with Yahoo a few years ago to improve their service. I hope that I dont fall out with BT.
