It is not funny to anyone who spends a good part of their working life picking up the pieces! I see increasing numbers of hefty unfit patients with heart disease and diabetes.
Patients who both suffer and die younger than they need to, due directly of indirectly to obesity. I see men and women crying because they can't find the willpower to eat less, nor the impetus to exercise. No I don't think it is funny at all!

i feel, anything which is unshapely, out of proportion and not so curvaceous is funny. so a fat, obese person stirs up laughter as does a very skinny, skeletal guy.
jokes apart, there's nothing funny about an obese. trust me they suffer like hell and we should be in their shoes and try to empathasize.
i know, this comes in good spirit and thanx for the wit.

It maby funny in the sense that they got themselves into this state eating them selves to death i think it is discusting that people of today do this to themselves i have no pitty for any of them they get what they deserve it may sound harsh but they you go am giving you my oppinion and good question by the way :)

Its human habit to make fun of anything in the initial stage.But they realise the drawback in the later stage.So its persons own responsibility to take care of his/her health in correct manner.For that s/he should indulge in physical work so that overweight can be checked.

Its so funny because even though huge people have a risk of dying, you still see them stuffing their faces in KFC and McDonalds and not giving a s*** about what they are doing to their body x
