My friend was in a relationship where she was treated very very badly (he cheated on her, disrespected her and spoke a lot of **** about him). She started over with a new relationship with a guy who i introduced her too.... she ended up cheating on him with the ex. I never ever supported her with the ex cause the way he behaved with her. Today she is with the ex once again and im scared for her. However she feels he has changed and tells me stuff like its all perfect and to the extend that their families have even met and agreed to a wedding. the only problem is that she doesnt want anybody else to know and gives me a reason that it may get jinxed again. She is trying to hide it even though its so perfect according to her. What do i believe? is it really true??

I was in a similar relationship which i also kept going back to over and over again, even tho he is treating her badly in her heart she will be hoping for change and longing for that love that she craves from him so therefore will keep going back in the hope things would be different. Things probably will be different to for a while as the two of them will be trying to make a go of it, but if he is a bad egg things will slowly slip back in to place and your friend will soon notice this.But in my case of this i was to proud to say to my friends ,family "look its happened again you where right".she will have to do this on her own and in time she will realise that it wasn't worth it and will eventually break from the reoccurring situation.she will eventually if it isn't good for her realise and make the change,but the more you don't support in your friends life of what she wants to do the more it will push her towards him, support her you don't have to like it but its her life. And i would say yes friends do lie to protect their boyfriends especially if she loves him very much and is wanting people to like him she will be also lying to herself as well tho but she will realise all this and come to her senses one day, you'll see it will happen.hope this can help

sounds like she is in a right mess...... Im guessing cause she does not want anyone to know then she knows herself its doomed. The best thing you can do is just be there for her at the moment. The fact she cheated on this new guy is because she is so in love with her ex and had not moved on. Be patient with her I know exectly what she is going through and im sure she knows herself where it is all going. good luck and carry on being the caring friend you are x

When u r in love u turn a blind eye to the vices with ur partner. Asume she's blind until she regains her sight u will have to lead her but dont forget there r places and things that would interest her and not ecatly appeal to you.
If u really care for her stand by her and only pray that for real this guy's changed or u have a great task ahead of you.

They are planning for a wedding, that is the most important thing.What ever she tells you, you have to believe her cos she will also tell her ex things about you and her old guy, that is ladies for you. Believe her and watch her closely so that she will not stab you from the back, by telling lies to you.

I think the thing here is not if it's truth but just all you can do as her friend is be supportive.Maybe he has changed and maybe he didn't but it's what she wants to believe. The only thing you can do at this point if you value your friendship is just be there for her.If it all turns out good be there by being happy for her,if it doesn't work out be there for her by Being There For Her.

Take her out one night. Just tell her that you need a girls night. Get her tipsy and then get her talking.
She is your friend. Tell her how you feel about the situation and then support her so that she knows she can fall back on you if things go bad.

some people are like this soon she will reaslie what a mistake she has made and she will get rid because my friend has done the same all you can do os tell your friend how you feel and if she cant see what you are saying then just leave her to her ignorence
