This would sound like an easy question to answer, but it really isn't.how would you choose the hottest curry (in the world,i presume) the hotness or spiciness of any curry depends mainly on the quantity of chillies used ,& this varies from household to houshold depemding on their preferance. The state of Andhra in Indiais famous for fiery curry dishes,Vindalo a curry of Goa,with a marked Pourtugese influence is also very hot,Sri Lanka & Thai dishes also pack a forceful chillie punch,so take your pick, there is no curry walking away with the"The Hottest" award.

In Sri Lanka there is curry called Lunumuris - it's actually lunu (salt) miris (chillie). It does not have any gravy. It's made with dry red chilli( but there is another version with green chilli), onion,Tomatoe (which makes it moist), salt and a dash of pepper all ground together. It's great with Roti (something similar to naan.
This dish is very very very hot. You actually cant even think of having it without having like gallon of water by your side!.

I found most Sri Lankan dishes quite hot!.
