ok so my ex wanted to be friends but now is telling me to f*** off. but then he'll come up to me and start talking. help. what do i do about this?

Your "EX" clearly doesn't want to be your friend. Remind yourself why he's your "EX", if he starts talking simply pop him in the nose and say "Quiet!" Then tell him to "SIT." If he complies you might want to give some positive reinforcement by patting him on the top of his head and saying "goooood boy". If he does not comply firmly say "Bad, Bad Boy no biscuit!" Finally you will have a quality friendship with him.
If he still wishes to play games with you, take him to the park and play fetch. It's hard @#$! off if he has a stick in his mouth.

He may say he wants to be friends but he is obviously still holding a grudge for your break up.
I wouldn't want to be friends with someone who told me to f*** off.
Avoid him and don't even try to be 'just friends'....with friends like him who needs enemies?
