I am not a man but I will say what I think. Some men (and women) don't show their feelings because they have been conditioned as a child to hide feelings. Other people want to express their feelings but cannot put them into words.
Expressing feelings is not easy for some and maybe a person is unwilling to show feelings for fear of being hurt.

Some men do, some men don't. It all depends on the individual and sometimes the way they have been brought up. There is alot of social pressure for men to hide their feelings, and not express them, but saying that things are changing and thankfully it is becoming more accepted for men to be able to do this. Sometimes by asking open questions men can be encouraged to talk about feelings (and women). Its just about approaching it in the right way, and allowing a person to have 'space' to express themself fully.

It depends what you mean by show? If you mean tell you how they feel then there could be lots of reasons.
I had this very conversation with my bf last night and he admitted that he finds it difficult to express how he feels, especially to tell me how he feels about me, as he has been very badly hurt in the past. I know that he really cares about me as he is always hugging me, holding my hand and giving me little loving kisses etc he just finds it difficult to say so.
If you are involved with someone like this then just talk to them about it.

Guys are brought up and conditioned to be "hard" they learn from an early age, not to cry, not to show emotion, not to be week. This behaviour and conditioning continues in to adult life! and means guys lock away the way the feel!

Because men are just as afraid of rejection as women, they just dnt let it show as well as we do. They hide their feelings until they r sure u want then too...because they hate being rejected but hate being lead on even more.

we have to be strong and not shows signs of weakness, you girls would soon start complaining if we were all a bit soft and crying on your shoulders about everything and going 'awwww' at little kittens and puppies.
seriously, I talk about my feelings but not too much and it would take a death of someone close to bring tears to my eyes.

A lot of it is past culture stuff.
"Big boys don't cry"
"Be a man"
etc.
It takes practice and it needs to be done slowly where you don't get the piss taken out of you for showing the feelings.
Men can do it, they just aren't often given real permission to do so.
