i fell in love with him 5 years ago,his been my 1st love&my only love..im 19 now and we have talked about our life together we havent went into great depth as we are still only young he is only 21. but now he wants to go travelling to australia for a year...he asked me to go at the start and i said i couldnt afford it so now his going with all his friends from home. But the thing is i would love 2 go with him id get a loan, it would b a dream 2 c australia and with him long side me it would be a bonus but i dont want to smother him either i know that a year apart could make us or break us but im living with him now..it will break my heart not being able to see him every day..should i bring it up about the two of us going...or leave him go and see what happens? ....

Your age doesn't matter. You must share your feelings and fears with him, if he truly is devoted to you he will understand and help you with a solution.

Well, gg, this is a predicament! When you are young it is good to be able to go out and see the world, because as you get older it gets harder to do. But also, unless the two of you see things the same way, it may not be right for you to go with him now. At your age some testing is good in a relationship. If he really misses you and wishes you had gone, too, then your relationship probably will stand the test of time. If he doesn't miss you, then it probably wouldn't. Better some heartache now than major trauma later. I say let him go, and find things (not men) to occupy your time and thoughts while he is gone.

Stay home and see what happens. If after the year apart, you still want to be together, it is meant to be.
But then again, if you spend that year together and still want to be together, then it is meant to be.
Do you have a way of paying this loan when you come home? Are you in college???

it's difficult to part from your loving ones, but give them a chance, and you will see much more maturity in your relation. This one year will give you a chance to think about ur relationship....and if your love is true you will feel much more attached to each other then before
