Is porridge good for you if you make it with semi-skimmed milk and water?

Yes, very healthy. As a winter food it is indispensable, a bowl of porridge (even made with semi-skimmed and water) will warm up the body for almost a day. It's roughage so will clear out the stomach.....a good healthy food (even made with only water which I do sometimes)

Porridge is good for you no matter what combination of milks and waters you use. Oats are considered a herb for their medicinal and health-giving properties. Porridge made with millet flakes is even healthier.

It is when taken in moderation, like anything else.

And it's a LOT better than Frosted Flakes, or Captain Crunch.

Any type of grain products are good for you. Try not to get the instant though.

it is good for providing it's not that instant , add water and mix - ready to eat brand
