I met a guy new year's eve and we have been seeing each other ever since. Just about a week ago he told me that he loved me and I said it back, because I do love him. After that I hadn't talked to him for the whole next week and then saw him on St. Patrick's Day. I was pretty drunk and I think I said some stuff I shouldn't have. I apologized later that night when he called me at 2:30 a.m.! He made the comment that he didn't know why things had to move so fast, and I reminded him that he was the one who told me he loved me first. We haven't talked since...should I call him? I truly care about him?

YES, Give one phone call on the ansewing machine when you know he wont be home. This way you know he was given the option to call you back or not to. Just say you understand his point of view and would like to still continue to see him.
If he calls talk to him but don't start right away with the relationship it will scare him away. If he doesn't call you back do not show you are mad simply start to date lightly again he will come back if he loves you. The one thing you should remember while doing this is not to sleep with the other man this will really upset him and turn him off. If he doesn't come around in 2 weeks he was playing you and go on with your life. I know this first hand, this guy i dated off and on for 3 years told me he loved me then took it back then when I started to dated other people he came back and we got married by the end of the summer.

i was in more or less the same situation last month. he was making all the plans for a future, moving things along quicker then all of a sudden he realised he wasnt ready for all this commitment, didnt call me for a couple days then i text him to
see if everything was ok and he finished with me by text! the cheek of it!
anyway he completly broke my heart and im still hurtin but not as bad as i was.
i think u may be in the same situation i was in and i would advise to just call him and find out whats wrong wtih him but expect the worst cos i wasnt expecting it at all and it really shocked me.
i really hope this isnt the case with u as i wouldnt wish it on anyone and i hope that it all works out for u.

communication is the key to any relationship. if neither of you are calling, you'll never work it out. if you feel that you said some inappropriate things, an apology that night when you were still drunk won't cut it. call him and let him know what you're thinking and find out what's going on in his head. if you're not willing to do that, then you don't really love him.

give him space for awhile, if he truly does love u like he said he will call you, if he doesnt then at least u know u were in a dead end relationship!..sorry to b blunt!x

think about it if you really love him then you should think about him and maybe he is doing this to see if you really love him or not so call him and talk to him about what happen and that's it .....
