thats not good. you need to change. just because you are a loner at lunch is no reason to not eat lunch. and go to bed! you need sleep so your body can heal itself from all the junk from starbucks. and you really should eat breakfast.

When I was 13 I was chugging 2 liters of soda right out of the bottle and I NEVER ate breakfast nor lunch and my "dinner" was usually McDonald's or something out of a bag, it sucked then and NOW I have osteoarthritis of the spine at the tender age of 35. It is like a death sentence. What I'm trying to say is that it WILL catch up with you-PLEASE take care of your body now. Too much caffeine and not enough sleep...headed for disaster. If you live near a Starbucks, chances are good maybe there is a fitness center or something where there are people you can meet. You don't have to limit yourself to people your own age.Are there any clubs in school that you could join? No, your life is not a mess, your just going through so many transitions, things will "level out" -keep the faith. You sound like a smart girl, enough to realize that you "don't have controlling parents" rather than"My parents don't care about me and will let me do whatever I want"
I see nothing wrong with Stopping at Starbucks, it's your choices that worry me. Try to get alternatives to the turbo jet fueled high octane drinks.Your body will thank you for it.

First of all, how do you afford Starbucks 2 times a day! I'm an adult and can't afford it once a day! Shouldn't you save your money or something? Um, all this will catch up with you one day. No sleep and all that caffeine! Setting a bedtime and rules is not being a controlling parent, it is being a good parent. I think it's not your fault, but it doesn't sound like a healthy lifestyle to me. I'm sorry your parents don't give you rules to follow and I'm sorry you don't have more guidance. You should stop the Starbucks, go to bed at 10pm, and get up, eat a healthy breakfast and good lunch. That's what my kids do! Kids need discipline and rules.

Baby! I think you know the answer to that question. People who have it together don't ask if their life is a mess!.
The best thing you can do is at least limit yourself to one cup of Starbucks in the morning. (You would be much better off with Orange Juice, but if you will not, at least leave off the night coffee.) Put the money you would have spent on the coffee in a jar, and at the end of the month, take someone who does not have a lot of things and buy her a new blouse or shoes. When I am despondent, I find someone less fortunate than I am and try to make an improvement in their life, and you cannot believe how much it helps me! It improves my outlook, and my disposition. Do not throw your health away. It is a gift from the Giver of LIFE...the Almighty One. Please cherish it and don't abuse it.

Yes! Stop with the coffee already. Besides the fact that it is damaging to your growing body and liver, its making you hyper and preventing you from getting your much needed rest. You need to eat your breakfast(even if its just cornflakes), and lunch. These keep your motor going. If you don't stop this cycle soon, they will find you passed out on the floor at school. Your body is not getting what it needs and it will protest any day now. Cut it out!!! Talk to your mother or another adult who can give you some guidance. But leave the coffee alone for the time being. They shouldn't sell it to you in the first place.

I don't think anyone really needs to answer, because you did for yourself. I am
so sorry that your parents don't show some control. Maybe what you need to do is to show them that you are more mature than they are. Stay home, do your homework, go to bed at a decent time, get up early enough to have a decent breakfast, eat lunch---you need the energy. You really do need help. Is there anyone that you can trust that is a teacher, school counselor? If your parents don't seem to care about what you do, then you need to care. I'm afraid that with your current lifestyle, you could be badly hurt or worse. Take care of yourself, it doesn't look like anyone else will. When you cultivate
friends, don't pick the tough kids that get into trouble. I pray that you get the
help that you need.

obviously by reading all the comments you've figured out you need to sleep for your health and eating periodically through the day is better than drinking two venti frapachinios a day. i don't think anyone really addressed, how not sleeping and jolting your system can leave you looking like a zombie with weird mood swings. this maybe causing the lack of friends at lunch time. just for the record starbuck fans i worked at starbucks for a number of years and the people who drank the blended drinks where fat and frumpy . for all the skinny frappy happy people its cause your young and have a high metabolism and making a habit out of starbucks will leave you with a fat a#s later in life. drink carrot juice its better for you.

Yes, darling, its very unhealthy. I let my 12 year old daughter enjoy a cup of coffee maybe once a week, but twice a day is to much for an adult, let alone a young girl. Coffee leaches calcium from your bones. Try a healthy natural fruit juice instead (not one with loads of sugar, real juice) If you enjoy the hot drinks, try hot juice, or hot herb tea. As for lunch, learn to enjoy your OWN company. Poo poo on not having people to sit with. Find an area you can sit alone, and bring a book or something, but please eat! You will be unhealthy as an adult if you continue this. After 12 years in a wheelchair, I would give anything to have the knowledge about nutrition at your age. Read some books about eating healthy. Take better care of yourself, my dear

i'm a teenager to and yes i no what a stress school can be making friends and everything beleive me im in high school but you shouldn't starve yourself and then fill up on starbucks coffee can be a great pick me up but it can also have bad side effects like acne and it will give you energy but then you will crash this probably is not doing anything great for your grades either. as for being a loner try joining a sport in school and if your not an athletic person try some other school club or take up a hobbie.
