Your band will still be here when you get back. Australia is a once in a lifetime. Save the pennies.

If you are going from UK, Australia is practically at the other side of the world. With only a week to do the trip, deducting 2 days to travel there & back, and on top of that making a dent in your saving, I would not consider this trip is worthwhile. With the same money you can have a very pleasant holiday going somewhere closer, postponing Australia for later when you can better afford both the time & the cost.

What would i do? Well as the old saying goes - what you've never seen you won't miss! No seriously its not worth putting a dent in your savings for this Australia/New Zealand trip when you can't say for sure that you won't get the chance to see your fave band in the future. Hope this helps and good luck on your trip!

australia and new zealand is a fantastice place to see and visit. the people are great and there is a lot of new things to learn and experience, the band is just a band no matter how much you adore them, they will still be there when you finish your trip but the trip is something to really experience...i did and i'm coming back so save some more and i might see you there.

Save up for your trip. There will be many more opportunities to see your favorite band. Australia may only be a one time chance for you. Have fun on your trip. :)

What is more important to you? A day to see your fav band or an experience of a lifetime visiting another beautiful country!! There will be other rock festivals and I am sure if the band is any good then they will be around for a few years yet!
Good Luck with whatever you choose!

Sounds as though you can afford neither, start saving and plan for the trip down under in 10 years time or so.

Save your money! Australia is amazing and I missed out on a few things due to low cash.

i know that a trip in a lifetime comes once...so i think that you should go on the trip because there will be other times to see your band again.
