I am not sure I understand your question...but I will answer differently from previous posters:

We cannot be pure without God and his Amazing Grace - So therefore, to be pure, we would have had to "see Him" first, i.e. Come to know Him and His son Jesus, been forgiven and turn from sin. It is then that we are pure in HIs sight.

pure in heart means loving everyone.Jesus saves you and if you are willing its Jesus that changes you.I saw God after I was saved.Paul saw Jesus before he was saved.and Paul sure was not pure in heart before he was saved. He helped stone Stephen to death and did everything he could do to go against Jesus. But God had a plan for his life .Paul wrote more of the bible than any other human on earth. With God telling him what to write

Purity. Drink enough of a pure spirit based drink and you're likely to end up seeing God.

You will only see God if your heart is pure.

So, even if you go to heaven, if your heart is not pure, you will not see God.
