We don't have a draft and haven't for a long time. When we did they were paid the same as those who enlisted.

There is no active drafting (selective service) right now; just registration.

In the Vietnam draft, people were expected to serve in the same way as the enlisted person. You get a basic pay, military pays for clothes, food, lodging and combat pay is extra
