When I was 16 -- I married into the Jehovah Witness religion not knowing anything about that religion -- I was having a baby and was pregnant before being married My then husband was ignored and No one could speak to him for One year - Well that was the beginning of the end for us - I thought it was horrible the way they treated him and I'll never go to or near that religion again - He was a very nice person and I hate that we both had to go through that --

I've been asked to leave a church because they didn't like the things that I was teaching, but I still have a good relationship with everyone in that church so I wouldn't call myself "disfellowshipped".

No, I resigned from the church. In Germany you have to make it official that you no longer wish to be associated with christian religion or else they will still deduct your monthly salary by 1% for church tax.

No, but I sent the Catholic church an email asking if I could please be excommunicated because I'm an atheist and I never got a reply.
