asics and new balance are good, havent tried adidas nova, but have been told that they are pretty good too. most of these are available on discount.

You're not going to find good running shoes for under $50. Most decent shoes are $85-$150. If you're going to be doing any type of serious training, don't skimp on the shoes. You'll regret it in the end.

Asics Gel Kanberra, or Gel Solution. I can usually find them on sale between $40 and $50.

nikes they got shoes that have cushion and feel good just look around or on eastbay
