I know the symbol for Christianity is a cross but what is the symbol for God?

There is no symbol for god. It is not a product or programme.

I think people like to make up symbols because we always like something that is visible. Biblically there is no symbol for Christ the Christians or God. It in itself is really the symbol of Christianity, that is that there is no symbol, because the law that we're not to make any graven images is really still in effect. It is interesting that the early church were actually called " atheists" by the communities around them because they had no symbol or idol that they worshiped. The symbol of the cross originated with the Catholic church a number of protestant denominations still use it, but it is not a Biblical practice. The fish was used by the early Christian church that was persecuted and underground simply to let people know when meetings were being held and and was in no way a symbol of God or Christ or Christianity.

the symbol for christianity isn't the cross, it's the fish/pisces.
God has got a mark, it's mentioned in revelations, but just like the number of the beast, no-one knows what it is or how it looks.
