Having trouble deciding between Primera 2.2 diesel or 1.8 petrol. Can anyone tell me how many mpg each should be expected to return?

Petrol will get you 38mpg
Diesel will get you 46mpg

If you are basing the cost on the running costs, also take into account the additional cost of the diesel car and the diesel fuel and work out how many miles you will have to do before the costs are even

I work for a local Nissan dealer and the reports that come from most people that own P12 diesel (37mpg)or petrols (34mpg) So not much in it.
Hope this helps.
ps diesel is a better car to drive.

The gas isn't too undesirable. 18 in city and 25 is highway averages to approximately 20-22 mpg. inspite of the undeniable fact that, I used to have a nissan and it became confusing to maintain. The aspects have been high priced and had to get replaced greater in many circumstances than what Ipersistent suitable now.
