i brought the system which is about a year old with me to the UK. i thought i'd only need a step down voltage convertor to get it woking, but bose.UK says i need to pay £520 to get the power settings changed, the DVD region code management altered, the radio tuning system as well as the remote control etc reset before i can use it here. the truth is i cannot afford such a cost now. has anybody got any suggestions and will it ony work their way?

that is a lot of money dude the system new is 2000 usa

so they want 520 pounds = 1000 to change it over

what are they out of there mind,

here is what I would do I would go to a high end ele. shop and but the best AC/DC converter that I could, then for $50 I would buy a DVD player and hook it up too it, and run the system just for sound, who cares about FM any way
